Planning Erins maternity session was so much fun. Some of my favorite clients are ones that just look at me and tell me “Whatever you think”. Erin knew one thing about her session, she NEEDED to wear the blue spruce Francis gown from the client closet. She loved the color and the fit was perfect to show off her bump! Basically Erins only stipulation was that gown and that color! So off to Ricketts Glen we went because, well have you seen that place! A beach and fields so close together it makes for one of the best locations in the area for maternity sessions.
Check out some of my favorites below!
We started the session at the woods edge near Lake Jean and then moved our way over to the beach and finished out at the hayfields. Lake Jean is one of my favorite places to photograph, whether its a maternity or family session. The kids always have fun hanging out on the beach and the soft color of the sand helps to make whatever color you’re wearing POP.
After finishing up on the beach we headed to the hayfields. Erin wore one of my favorite gowns (I know you hear that from me a lot) The Allegra in olive. When I say I love it when my clients trust me to choose a gown for them, I mean it. Erin was for sure not so certain about the Allegra, but the color with her skin tone was just too perfect to not be used!
